My Approach
My approach to herbal medicine is grounded in the Vitalist tradition of Western Herbalism. This means I believe that we all have a fundamentally intelligent life force that drives us, and that this is in fact what I’m constantly in communication with and in service of. What that translates into with my clinical work is that every session, every herbal protocol is a little bit different, fitted to the individual and their circumstances. Sometimes it’s not herbs that we focus on, but nutrition, or movement, or emotional health. You walk away from each session with tools you can start using right away, as well as skills that you can use to build your health for a lifetime.
Acute Herbal Formulation

This session is a cost-effective way to help you receive the herbal support you need quickly and safely.
Session Includes:
Acute assessment of your condition
Review of any medications you are currently taking, and potential herb-drug interactions
Up to 3 tailored herbal formulations
Options include bulk tea, tinctures, glycerites, and powders
10 minutes of support via phone or email regarding your herbal formulations after the initial session

Payment is due at the time of booking.
The price of herbs and shipping is billed separately.
Tinctures: $15-20 per ounce
Bulk Herbs: $8-10 per ounce
Powders: $8-12 per ounce
If the session is canceled less than 24 hours before the session, a $40 cancellation fee will be charged.
Full Herbal Intake

This Session Includes:
Acute assessment of your current condition/s
Review of your medical history
Full Body systems review
Research and review of any current medications or conditions for potential herb-drug interactions, as well as drug-drug interactions
Tailored herbal formulations based on analysis of your case/condition
Recommendations for health screenings, bodywork, and other non-herbal therapeutics
Protocol tailored to your specific health needs, including but not limited to:
Dietary and Supplement protocol
Lifestyle changes
Sleep optimization protocols
Movement/exercise
10 minutes of support via phone or email regarding your herbal formulations and protocol

Follow Up Session

This session is for existing clients, and gives us a chance to check in on how your protocol is working, and answer any questions you might have.
We review your protocol, and based on your progress decide what needs adjusting and what you should continue working with, as well as review any new information you have regarding your health picture.

A note on community herbalism
I strongly believe that everyone should have access to excellent healthcare. As a community herbalist, in addition to the above regular rate, I also provide a sliding scale and/or payment plan to those in need. By paying the full rate, you are contributing to this model of community provided care and enabling me to continue providing these services to those in financial hardship.

The suggestions I provide during our sessions are educational in nature, and are not meant to be a substitute for seeing a licensed medical practitioner. Protocols and suggestions regarding herbal products have not been evaluated by the FDA or any other regulating body.
